Three wooden boats with five robbers in each approached an anchored chemical tanker awaiting for cargo operations. Due to the crew alertness, the robbers were spotted and were unable to board the vessel. Before moving away, one of the robbers gestured to the crew that they would return during the night hours. Due to the threat and no response from port authorities the Master heaved up the anchor and sailed to the open sea.
