123654 SUSPICIOUS CRAFT: This incident will not be included in the IMB statistics 10.01.2023 145 UTC: Posn: 15:45N – 041:26E, Red Sea. Two suspicious skiffs doing 15 knots approached a bulk carrier underway. Master raised alarm, increased speed, altered course, activated fire hoses, fired rocket flares and non-essential crew members mustered in the citadel. When the skiffs closed to a distance of two cables from the ship, the on board armed security team fired warning shots resulting in the skiffs moving away. 2023-01-02
